1) See Fabric Composition
The most important thing to consider when choosing a heat transfer is to understand the type of fabric you will apply. Heat transfers are produced with a variety of adhesives to adhere to different types of fabrics. Make sure the heat transfer includes an adhesive strong enough to adhere to your fabric. Many heat transfer styles will easily adhere to cotton and cotton/poly blends.

2) Check Heat Sensitive Fabrics
Fabrics containing polyester, rayon, or viscose are heat sensitive and require a transfer applied at a lower heat application to reduce traces of burning or burning on the product. The ideal temperature is 280 degrees and below.
3) Complete the suit with the feeling of heat transfer
The last thing you want to do with your high-quality and ultra-soft garment is a thick, heavy heat transfer application of heat.
